Mandatory Requirements

• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in GST, TDS/TCS, and Income Tax compliance.

• Working knowledge of the GST portal, Income Tax portal, and TRACES.

• Hands-on experience with MS Excel; exposure to accounting/ERP or payroll software preferred.

• Good attention to detail and ability to independently manage statutory deadlines.

• Immediate joiners preferred.

Job Purpose

The Taxation Executive will be responsible for supporting GST and Income Tax compliance, TDS/TCS

processing, and tax-related MIS reporting. The role requires strong attention to detail, sound working

knowledge of statutory tax provisions, and the ability to coordinate closely with the Finance team and tax

consultants to ensure accurate and timely compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• GST Compliance: Prepare and file monthly/annual GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR9C).

• ITC Reconciliation: Reconcile GST input tax credit (ITC) with purchase records and supplier data.

• Notices & Assessments: Support in handling GST and Income Tax notices, assessments, and liaise with

the tax team.

• Regulatory Monitoring: Monitor changes in GST law and ensure timely implementation.

• TDS/TCS Processing: Deduct TDS/TCS as per applicable provisions and prepare data for TDS returns

(Form 24Q, 26Q) within due dates.

• PAN Matching: Prepare TDS data (194C, 194J, 194I, 194Q) matching with Active/Inactive PANs on

the TRACES portal.

• Certificates: Issue Form 16 and 16A certificates to deductees.

• TDS Reconciliation: Reconcile TDS with books and Form 26AS / Annual Information Statement (AIS).

• Ledger Maintenance: Maintain accurate tax ledgers and reconcile tax liability with the general ledger.

• MIS Reporting: Prepare monthly MIS reports on tax outflows and liabilities, including GSTR 2B/2A

reconciliation with books.

• Vendor Follow-up: Follow up with vendors on non-filing GST cases and track active/inactive GST

registration cases.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong working knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax provisions.

• Hands-on experience with the GST portal, Income Tax portal, and TRACES.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and comfort with accounting/ERP tools.

• High attention to detail with the ability to independently manage statutory deadlines.

• Good communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and consultants.

• Sound judgment and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
