Senior Accountant

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Professional to manage the complete accounting, taxation, compliance, and financial operations of our organization. The candidate should possess strong expertise in GST, TDS, Tally, financial reporting, inventory accounting, and statutory compliance. The role requires independent handling of day-to-day accounts and coordination with management, auditors, and government authorities.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage complete accounting operations in Tally Prime.

• Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.

• Handle GST compliance, return filing, reconciliation, and input tax credit verification.

• Manage TDS calculations, deductions, reconciliations, and statutory compliance.

• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.

• Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Conduct vendor and customer ledger reconciliations.

• Prepare monthly MIS reports, financial reports, and management summaries.

• Monitor outstanding payments and coordinate collection follow-ups.

• Manage inventory accounting and stock reconciliations.

• Verify purchase bills, sales invoices, expenses, and payment vouchers.

• Coordinate with Chartered Accountants, auditors, banks, and government departments.

• Ensure timely compliance with GST, Income Tax, TDS, and other statutory requirements.

• Assist management in budgeting, financial planning, and business decision-making.

Required Skills :

• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and accounting principles.

• Expert-level proficiency in Tally Prime.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, MIS Reporting).

• Experience in ledger scrutiny and account reconciliation.

• Understanding of inventory accounting and stock management.

• Knowledge of E-Invoicing and E-Way Bills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Good communication and reporting skills.

• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance)

• CA Inter or equivalent accounting qualification preferred.

• Experience in trading, distribution, inventory-based, or technology businesses will be an advantage.
