Junior Accountant (Accounts & Finance Operations)

📅 Work Days: Monday to Saturday (One Saturday off per month)

A fast-growing premium gifting and e-commerce company is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant to support daily financial operations and ensure smooth accounting processes.
This is a hands-on role involving payment processing, vendor management, invoicing, reconciliations, and coordination with internal teams. The ideal candidate should be organized, responsive, and comfortable handling multiple financial tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Payments & Financial Operations
Process payments related to vendors, transportation, and operational expenses
Handle urgent vendor advance payments in a timely manner
Add funds to online platforms such as Meta Ads, logistics portals, etc.
Record customer payments accurately in the system
2. Invoicing & Compliance
Generate invoices for local shipments
Create and manage e-way bills while ensuring statutory compliance
3. Vendor & Ledger Management
Maintain and clear vendor dues regularly
Reconcile vendor ledgers and company books of accounts
Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records
4. Receivables & Follow-ups
Follow up on pending receivables to ensure timely collections
Track and follow up on missing Purchase Requisitions (PRs)
5. Operations & Coordination
Support onboarding-related financial documentation from the customer side
Verify attendance data for salary processing
Coordinate with internal teams for smooth financial workflows
6. Other Responsibilities
Ensure timely email responses to vendors and customers
Provide financial clarifications and support whenever required
Desired Candidate Profile
1 year to 5yrs of experience in accounting or finance
Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping
Familiarity with invoicing, reconciliations, and payment processing
Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting tools
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Good communication and coordination skills
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
