Credit Controller

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor customer accounts to identify overdue payments and take necessary follow-up actions.

• Ensure accurate and timely invoicing to clients.

• Contact clients via phone, email, and written correspondence to chase outstanding payments.

• Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions, payment commitments, and disputes.

• Negotiate payment plans and ensure compliance with agreed terms.

• Resolve customer queries and issues related to invoices and payments in coordination with the sales and accounts team.

• Prepare debtor aging reports and present them to management on a regular basis.

• Escalate problem accounts to senior management when necessary.

• Review credit applications, conduct credit checks, and set appropriate credit limits.

• Work with auditors and provide necessary support during financial audits.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting principles, and legal requirements.
