Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant with over 5 years of proven expertise in accounting, taxation, and financial management. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to manage end-to-end financial operations independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and oversee complete books of accounts (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger).

• Prepare and finalize balance sheet, profit & loss statements, and other financial reports.

• Handle GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory compliances.

• Manage payroll processing and employee reimbursements.

• Prepare MIS reports for management review.

• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and banks.

• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

• Support management in financial decision-making by providing accurate and timely data

Requirements and Skills:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance. 

• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in a corporate or contracting environment. 

• Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and other accounting software. 

• Strong knowledge of Indian taxation, statutory compliance, and auditing. 

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. 

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience in the construction / contracting industry will be an added advantage. 

• Knowledge of ERP systems.
