Role Overview
We are looking for a Junior Accountant / Bookkeeping Associate to handle daily accounting operations, reconciliations, and finance support activities. The role works closely with the Senior Accountant and Finance Manager and follows clearly defined KRAs and KPIs.
Work Details
● Location: Mysore
● Work Type: Full-time | On-site
● Working Days: 6 days a week
Key Responsibilities
Daily Accounting & Bookkeeping
● Record daily transactions in Tally (sales, purchases, expenses, payments, receipts)
● Maintain accurate customer and vendor ledgers with ≥99% accuracy
Purchase Cycle, PO & GRN Management
● Create and maintain Purchase Orders (PO)
● Record Goods Received Notes (GRN) and match with POs and invoices
● Support inventory and material entries where applicable
Reconciliations
● Perform bank reconciliations on a daily/weekly basis
● Vendor and customer reconciliations
● Cash and petty cash reconciliation across business units
Documentation & Record Keeping
● Maintain digital and physical records of invoices, POs, GRNs, and challans
● Ensure documentation is organized, audit-ready, and 100% compliant
Finance Support & Compliance
● Assist Senior Accountant with GST and TDS data preparation
● Prepare supporting schedules for monthly MIS and P&L ● Support month-end closing activities (accruals, pending entries, follow-ups)
● Ensure zero backlog of pending accounting entries
Performance Expectations (KPIs)
● ≥ 99% daily entry accuracy
● Timely completion of bank and vendor reconciliations
● 100% PO/GRN matching before payment processing
● Vendor bills entered within 24 hours of receipt
● Month-end closing support completed by 3rd of every month
● Zero outstanding or pending entries
Requirements
Education
● B.Com / M.Com or equivalent in Accounting or Finance
Experience
● 1–3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
Skills
● Working knowledge of Tally
● Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and accounting principles
● Proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets
● Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred
● Experience in coworking, real estate, hospitality, or service-based organizations
