Store Executive

Key responsibilities

• Inventory management:

  • Receiving, storing, and organizing inventory, ensuring it is properly labeled and in the correct location.

  • Maintaining accurate stock records, managing stock levels, and reordering items as needed.

  • Conducting regular physical inventory counts and reconciling stock with records.

• Operations and logistics:

  • Handling the dispatch of goods and ensuring accurate billing and timely invoicing.

  • Processing material receipts and inventory updates promptly.

  • Ensuring the warehouse is organized, space is utilized efficiently, and goods are protected.

• Reporting and administration:

  • Generating daily, weekly, and monthly reports on store activities, sales, and inventory levels.

  • Ensuring data integrity and accuracy in all inventory management systems.

• Compliance and safety:

  • Adhering to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols.

  • Ensuring the store is clean, organized, and meets all safety and visual merchandising standards.

• Team and customer relations:

  • Coordinating with team members and other departments for smooth operations.

  • Training staff on proper material handling and safety procedures.

  • For retail roles, this also includes providing customer service, handling inquiries and complaints, and processing transactions accurately. 

Required skills and qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar role, such as a Store Executive or Warehouse Assistant.

• Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.

• Proficiency with inventory management systems and POS systems.

• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a team.

• For retail roles, experience with cash handling and sales reporting is often required.

• For specialized roles (e.g., medical stores), specific qualifications like a degree in pharmacy may be necessary
