We are looking for a professional Asst. Storekeeper with at least 2 years of experience to join Hotel Emerald in Mumbai, Juhu Area.
The Store Manager is responsible for managing all inventory, storage, and supply-related operations within the hotel. This includes receiving, organizing, and issuing stock for various departments such as housekeeping, kitchen (F&B), front office, and maintenance. The role ensures that inventory levels are properly maintained, stock entry in system, cost controls are enforced, and hotel standards are consistently met for quality and efficiency
Maintain accurate inventory of food, beverages, linen, guest supplies, cleaning materials, and other operational goods.
Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile with system records.
Manage reorder levels to ensure uninterrupted supply to departments.
Coordinate with the purchasing department to replenish stock as required.
Verify quantity and quality of goods received against purchase orders.
Liaise with suppliers and resolve discrepancies or delays in deliveries.
Issue items to respective departments based on authorized requisitions.
Maintain accurate records of issued items and update inventory software.
Ensure FIFO (First-In-First-Out) method is followed to prevent spoilage or wastage.
Physically able to move and lift items as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
Minimum qualification should be HSc with diploma in logistics management preferred
Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends or holidays depending on hotel demands.
