Warehouse Executive

An Area Loss Prevention Officer in BigBasket's Indore location would be responsible for monitoring and preventing theft, fraud, and other security breaches within the area. This role involves patrolling, reviewing CCTV footage, investigating incidents, and collaborating with store management to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment for customers and employees. Additionally, they would be involved in training staff on loss prevention techniques and maintaining accurate records of incidents and investigations.

Key Responsibilities:

Surveillance and Monitoring:

Regularly patrol assigned areas and monitor CCTV footage for suspicious activities or potential threats.

Incident Investigation:

Investigate reports of theft, fraud, or other security breaches, gathering evidence and documenting findings.

Loss Prevention:

Implement and enforce loss prevention policies and procedures to minimize losses and protect assets.

Collaboration:

Work with store management and, when necessary, law enforcement to address security issues.

Training:

Train staff on loss prevention techniques and best practices.

Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate records of incidents, investigations, and other relevant information.

Physical Security:

Ensure the physical security of the store and its assets, including monitoring alarms and other security systems.

Data Analysis:

Analyze data from various sources, including CCTV footage, sales records, and loss reports, to identify trends and patterns.

Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to security and loss prevention.

Asset Reconciliation:

Monitor and ensure the correct reconciliation of assets moved between locations.
