Quality Control (QC) Manager

A Quality Control Manager is responsible for ensuring that products and services meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements. The role involves developing quality control processes, leading inspection teams, minimizing defects, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Quality System Management
Develop and implement quality control procedures.
Ensure compliance with ISO, GMP, or industry-specific standards.
Maintain documentation and audit records.
Inspection & Testing
Supervise raw material, in-process, and final product inspections.
Analyze test results and identify quality issues.
Approve or reject products based on quality standards.
Team Leadership
Manage and train QC inspectors and technicians.
Assign daily inspection schedules.
Conduct performance evaluations.
Process Improvement
Identify root causes of defects using tools like:
5 Why Analysis
Fishbone Diagram
Six Sigma
Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Compliance & Audits
Coordinate internal and external audits.
Ensure regulatory compliance (industry-specific).
Prepare reports for management.
Customer & Supplier Quality
Handle customer complaints and quality claims.
Evaluate supplier quality performance.
Conduct supplier audits if required.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Manufacturing / Quality Management or related field.
Certification preferred:
ISO 9001 Lead Auditor
Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt)
Quality Management certifications
5–10 years of experience in quality control/assurance.
2–5 years in a managerial or team handling role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of quality tools & statistical analysis
Leadership & team management

Proficiency in MS Excel & ERP systems
