We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Pricing Executive to manage freight pricing, rate negotiations, and quotations for import and export shipments. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of logistics operations, carrier pricing, and market trends to ensure competitive and accurate pricing for customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and provide accurate freight quotations (Air & Sea – Import/Export) to customers and internal teams
Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, and overseas agents to obtain competitive rates
Negotiate pricing with carriers and vendors to maximize profitability
Maintain and update rate sheets, tariffs, and pricing databases
Analyze market trends and competitor pricing to stay competitive
Support sales team with pricing strategies and timely quote turnaround
Follow up on quotations and convert leads into business opportunities
Ensure all pricing complies with company policies and profit margins
Handle RFQs (Request for Quotations) and tenders efficiently
Build strong relationships with vendors, carriers, and internal stakeholders
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
1–3 years of experience in freight forwarding pricing or operations
Strong knowledge of Incoterms, shipping documentation, and logistics processes
Good understanding of ocean freight, air freight, and inland transportation
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Proficiency in MS Excel and logistics software
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills:
Experience handling international shipments (Import & Export)
Knowledge of multiple trade lanes (USA, Europe, Africa, etc.)
Familiarity with freight management systems
