Telesales Executive – Freight Forwarding
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Telesales Executive to join our business development team. You will be responsible for generating new business leads and promoting our global freight forwarding services to importers, exporters, and manufacturers. Your goal is to grow our customer base by showcasing how our logistics solutions can streamline their international trade operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead Generation & Prospecting: Proactively reach out to potential B2B clients through cold calling and market research to build a robust sales pipeline.
• Business Promotion: Effectively pitch our comprehensive freight services, including Ocean Freight (FCL/LCL), Air Freight, Customs Clearance, and Warehousing.
• Consultative Selling: Ask targeted questions to understand a customer’s unique shipping requirements and offer tailored, cost-effective logistics solutions.
• Meeting Coordination: Qualify high-potential leads and schedule appointments for the field sales team or senior management to close complex deals.
• CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all calls, customer interactions, and lead statuses in our CRM database.
• Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor rates, and shipping route dynamics to position our services advantageously.
• Customer Retention: Follow up with existing or past clients to identify new shipping needs and encourage repeat business.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Experience: 1–3 years of proven experience in telesales or B2B sales, ideally within the logistics or freight forwarding industry.
• Industry Knowledge: Basic understanding of international shipping terms (Incoterms), modes of transport, and customs processes is a significant advantage.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a persuasive telephone manner.
• Resilience: Strong ability to handle rejection and remain focused on achieving daily and monthly sales targets.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) and familiarity with CRM software like Salesforce.
