Logistics Supervisor

Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Logistics MIS Executive to manage and maintain logistics data, prepare reports, and support decision-making through accurate MIS reporting. The candidate will track shipments, monitor operational efficiency, and provide insights for process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, compile, and analyze logistics data from various sources (transport, warehouse, vendors).

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports on shipment status, delivery performance, and operational metrics.

• Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, transit times, and freight costs.

• Identify bottlenecks, discrepancies, or delays in logistics processes and escalate when necessary.

• Maintain records of shipments, delivery confirmations, and other logistics documents.

• Coordinate with operations, warehouse, and transport teams for data validation and accuracy.

• Support management with data-driven insights for improving logistics efficiency.

• Assist in forecasting and planning logistics requirements based on historical data.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

• Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, charts) and MIS reporting tools.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Good communication skills to coordinate with teams and vendors.

• Knowledge of logistics processes, transport management, and supply chain operations is a plus.

Experience:

• 1-2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations MIS role preferred.
