Mohan Infinity is seeking an experienced Import & Export Logistics Manager to manage end-to-end international logistics, including imports, exports, customs clearance, freight management, documentation, shipment tracking and vendor coordination. The candidate should be hands-on, commercially aware and capable of independently managing multiple shipments.
Key Responsibilities
Manage complete import and export shipments from order/shipment readiness through customs clearance and final delivery.
Coordinate with overseas suppliers, customers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, CHA/customs brokers and transporters.
Handle vessel bookings, container planning, stuffing, port movement and shipment tracking.
Obtain and negotiate competitive ocean freight, inland transportation, THC, CFS and other logistics charges.
Monitor ETD, ETA, vessel schedules, transshipments and delivery timelines.
Ensure timely customs clearance and coordinate Bill of Entry, Shipping Bill, duty payments and required regulatory approvals.
Ensure accuracy of commercial invoices, packing lists, Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin and other EXIM documentation.
Minimize demurrage, detention, storage and other avoidable logistics costs.
Maintain accurate import/export shipment trackers and provide regular ETA and status updates to management and internal teams.
Coordinate with Purchase, Sales, Finance, Production and Warehouse for shipment and inventory planning.
Prepare and verify landed-cost calculations and analyze freight and logistics expenses.
Develop and maintain freight-rate databases and compare shipping-line/forwarder quotations.
Manage relationships and performance of freight forwarders, CHAs, shipping lines and transporters.
Ensure compliance with Customs, DGFT, GST and applicable import/export regulations.
Develop and improve SOPs, documentation systems and logistics processes.
Identify opportunities for freight savings, better container utilization and improved shipment efficiency.
