Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Plant Inventory Manager to oversee and manage the entire inventory operations at our manufacturing plant. This role is critical in ensuring accurate inventory records, smooth stock movement, and timely availability of raw materials and finished goods to support production and dispatch.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage and monitor day-to-day inventory operations within the plant.
Ensure accurate stock keeping of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.
Conduct regular cycle counts, stock reconciliations, and audits to maintain accuracy.
Implement inventory control processes to reduce wastage, pilferage, and stock variance.
Work closely with production, purchase, and dispatch teams to ensure material availability.
Maintain inventory records in ERP/Tally and generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
Track slow-moving and non-moving inventory and recommend corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and audit standards in storage and inventory management.
Train and supervise store/inventory staff to ensure efficient operations.
Optimize warehouse layout for smooth stock flow and space utilization.
Qualifications & Experience:
Graduate/Postgraduate in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
4–7 years of experience in inventory/store management, preferably in FMCG / food processing / spice industry.
Strong knowledge of inventory control systems and ERP/Tally is a must.
Proven ability to manage audits, reconciliations, and reporting.
Excellent coordination skills with cross-functional teams.
