Job Summary

The role involves end-to-end shipment coordination, interacting with customers, overseas agents, and shipping lines, monitoring shipment milestones, delivering timely status updates, verifying vendor invoices, and coordinating billing tasks to ensure high-quality customer service.

Key Responsibilities

* Coordinate cargo readiness and pickup schedules directly with customers.

* Liaise with shipping lines and overseas agents for booking confirmations and vessel schedules.

* Monitor and coordinate import shipments from origin through final delivery.

* Serve as the main point of contact for clients regarding documentation and status updates.

* Resolve customer queries, operational issues, and shipment delays efficiently.

* Verify vendor debit notes and invoices against approved buy quotes.

* Update milestones, documents, and shipment details in customer portals.

* Review sell quotes and issue billing instructions to the Accounts team.

* Review and finalize customer invoices within specified deadlines.

* Ensure full compliance with import regulations and company SOPs.

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree (Graduation is required).

* Mandatory background in the Freight Forwarding Industry.

* Strong knowledge of Indian import freight forwarding operations.

* Practical experience handling FCL import shipments.

* Sound understanding of INCOTERMS.

* Experience and solid rapport working with overseas agents and shipping lines.

* Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
