Key Responsibilities
1. Export-Import Documentation.
Prepare commercial invoices, packing lists, shipping bills, and airway bills for each
international order.
Coordinate with CHA/freight forwarders for customs clearance and shipment
scheduling.
Ensure compliance with Indian customs, DGFT, and RBI guidelines.
Track and update export documentation like FIRC, BRC, and AD Code processes.
Maintain physical and digital records for all shipments.
2. Import Documentation & ORM Closure.
Prepare all import-related documents including commercial invoices, packing lists,
BOE (Bill of Entry), and coordinate with the CHA.
Maintain import records and ensure GST credits are properly claimed.
Coordinate with banks to submit BOEs and close ORMs against import remittances.
Track and reconcile all open ORMs and ensure full compliance with RBI reporting
norms.
3. Bank & Forex Coordination
Liaise with banks for inward remittances, foreign currency transactions, and FIRC
generation.
Follow up on pending realizations of export payments and update shipping bill
closures.
Support in managing foreign inward remittances received via F Engine Inc (US
entity) or other payment gateways.
4. Export Accounting
Record export sales and receipts accurately in Tally or Zoho Books.
Account for foreign exchange gain/loss, shipping costs, and export-related charges.
Prepare monthly reconciliation reports for international payments and shipments.
5. Internal Communication
Work closely with the marketing, warehouse, and customer service teams to ensure
documentation matches shipped orders.
Support with filing GST, IGST refunds, and coordinating with CA for returns related
to exports.
Desired Qualifications & Skills
B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance/IB) or similar.
Experience in export documentation and accounting.
Knowledge of Indian customs laws, FEMA, and RBI circulars.
Hands-on experience with Tally, MS Excel.
Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
