Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, assign, and dispatch drivers for local, regional, and OTR loads

  • Coordinate with U.S. brokers, shippers, and receivers

  • Negotiate load rates and confirm load details

  • Track trucks using GPS and ELD systems

  • Ensure compliance with DOT, HOS, and company safety policies

  • Monitor driver performance and resolve issues in real time

  • Handle detention, TONU, breakdowns, and route delays

  • Maintain accurate load records, rate confirmations, and paperwork

  • Update customers with shipment status

  • Maximize truck profitability and minimize empty miles
