Key responsibilities

• Cleaning and sanitation: Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all areas, including kitchens, dining rooms, and bars. This involves tasks like sweeping, mopping, polishing, and washing dishes, pots, and utensils.

• Guest and staff support: Assist guests with their needs, answer questions, and provide information, while also helping service staff by stocking stations, preparing tables, and running food or drinks.

• Stock and supply management: Monitor inventory levels, unload deliveries, and ensure areas are properly stocked with items like ice, napkins, silverware, and cleaning supplies.

• Operational assistance: Help with opening and closing procedures, and assist other kitchen staff with food preparation, such as adding garnishes or preparing simple dishes.

• Safety and compliance: Adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for both guests and employees. 

Required skills and qualifications

• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required.

• Physical stamina: The ability to work long hours on your feet is often necessary.
