The Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and service areas. This includes washing dishes, cleaning kitchen equipment, and ensuring sanitation standards are met to support smooth kitchen operations.
Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans.
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, and surfaces.
Dispose of waste and adhere to recycling policies.
Assist in basic food preparation and stocking supplies when required.
Follow hygiene, safety, and health regulations strictly.
Report any maintenance issues to the supervisor.
Help set up and break down workstations.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Prior experience as a steward or cleaner is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Physical stamina and strength.
Basic knowledge of hygiene and safety procedures.
