Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager Cum Banquet Manager who will be responsible for the overall operations of the restaurant as well as managing banquet events. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, excellent customer service abilities, and experience in hospitality management.
Key Responsibilities
Restaurant Operations
Oversee daily restaurant operations ensuring smooth service and customer satisfaction.
Manage and motivate staff including waiters, chefs, and housekeeping personnel.
Monitor food quality, hygiene standards, and safety protocols.
Handle customer queries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
Maintain stock levels, coordinate with vendors, and handle purchase orders.
Banquet Management
Coordinate and manage banquet events including weddings, birthdays, corporate functions, parties, etc.
Handle banquet booking inquiries, negotiations, and client meetings.
Prepare event layouts, seating, food menus, and service plans.
Ensure timely arrangement of décor, sound, lighting, catering, and event accessories.
Supervise banquet staff and ensure high service standards throughout events.
Team Leadership
Train and guide the hospitality team for efficient service.
Create staff rosters and assign daily duties.
Conduct briefing sessions before restaurant operations and events.
Financial & Administrative Tasks
Manage billing, cash handling, and daily sales reports.
Reduce operational costs while maintaining quality service.
Assist in budgeting and achieving revenue targets.
Skills & Competencies Required
Strong leadership and people management skills
Excellent communication and customer service
Experience in banquet/event handling
Good knowledge of hospitality operations
Ability to handle pressure and multitask
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Basic computer knowledge (MS Office / POS system preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management or Hospitality (preferred but not mandatory)
Previous experience as Restaurant Manager / Banquet Manager / Food & Beverage Supervisor
