We are seeking a confident and customer-focused Restaurant Captain to lead our service team and ensure smooth restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will supervise wait staff, maintain service quality, and provide guests with a memorable dining experience in line with Garci’s fine-dining standards.
Supervise and coordinate the activities of waiters and service staff during shifts.
Greet guests, ensure they are comfortably seated, and address any special requests or complaints.
Take and confirm food and beverage orders, ensuring accuracy and timely service.
Train and guide new waiters on restaurant service standards and guest handling.
Ensure tables are properly set up and maintained throughout service hours.
Coordinate between the kitchen, bar, and service team for smooth order flow.
Check final bills, ensure proper billing procedures, and handle payments when necessary.
Monitor staff grooming, punctuality, and adherence to restaurant policies.
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization in the dining area.
Assist the Restaurant Manager in managing inventory of cutlery, crockery, and service equipment.
Handle guest feedback professionally and escalate issues to management when required.
Ensure a warm, professional, and personalized guest service experience.
Proven experience as a Captain / Senior Waiter in a fine-dining or premium restaurant.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent knowledge of food & beverage service standards.
Positive attitude, attention to detail, and a guest-first approach.
Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure.
Diploma or degree in Hotel Management preferred.
