Key Responsibilities:
Assist cooks and chefs in food preparation and kitchen activities.
Wash, peel, cut, and prepare vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients.
Clean kitchen utensils, equipment, and workstations.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen as per food safety standards.
Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing food supplies.
Dispose of kitchen waste properly and keep the kitchen area clean.
Support serving and packing of food when required.
Ensure proper storage of raw materials and prepared food items.
Follow instructions from the Cook, Chef, or Kitchen Supervisor.
Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Requirements:
Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience in a kitchen, restaurant, cafe, or catering setup (preferred).
Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety practices.
Physically fit and able to stand for long hours.
Ability to work in shifts and under pressure.
Team player with a positive attitude.
