Cafe Team Member Responsibilities
Customer Service: Greeting guests warmly, answering menu questions, and processing payments via the Point of Sale (POS) system.
Order Preparation: Preparing high-quality coffees, teas, and food items according to the cafe's recipes and standards.
Hygiene & Maintenance: Keeping dining areas, prep stations, and equipment spotless, and ensuring health and safety regulations are strictly followed.
Stock Replenishment: Monitoring low-stock ingredients and restocking condiment bars, napkins, and cups.
Cafe Manager Responsibilities
Staff Leadership: Recruiting, training, and scheduling team members while fostering a positive work environment.
Inventory & Vendor Management: Tracking supply levels, placing orders with vendors, and verifying incoming deliveries.
Financial Administration: Managing the cafe's budget, tracking daily revenues/expenses, and handling cash drawers and bank deposits.
Operations & Strategy: Resolving complex customer complaints, updating menu offerings, and ensuring all machinery operates correctly.
