Job Description – Video Editor

We are looking for a Video Editor to join our team at Rsta Dharma Media Foundation to create polished, engaging, and high-quality video content for marketing, social media, news, campaigns, and internal communication.

The candidate is required to bring their own laptop for work.

This creative position offers an in-hand salary of ₹10,000 – ₹25,000 per month, depending on skills and experience, along with opportunities to work on diverse media and digital projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into engaging and professional videos.

• Create Reels, Shorts, promotional videos, interviews, documentaries, and social media content.

• Add music, transitions, text, subtitles, sound effects, and visual effects as required.

• Work closely with content writers, graphic designers, social media managers, and production teams.

• Create and optimize videos for different platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and other digital platforms.

• Follow organizational branding and content guidelines.

• Complete assigned projects within the given deadlines.

• Use professional video editing software to create and edit videos from scratch.

• Maintain proper organization of raw footage, project files, and final video outputs.

• Adapt editing styles according to different content requirements, campaigns, and target audiences.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Qualification: Diploma or equivalent qualification.

• Experience: 0–6 years in video editing or a related field.

• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent tools.

• Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and other creative software is preferred.

• Knowledge of CorelDRAW or similar design software will be an added advantage.

• Strong understanding of video composition, storytelling, pacing, transitions, typography, and visual presentation.

• Good understanding of social media video formats and platform requirements.

• Strong creative sense and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with the production and content teams.

• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Candidates must have their own laptop suitable for professional video editing.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of motion graphics and basic animation.

• Experience in creating Reels, Shorts, documentaries, interviews, and social media videos.

• Understanding of current video trends and social media content formats.

• Creative approach to visual storytelling.

• Willingness to learn new editing techniques, tools, and technologies.
