Key Responsibilities
Edit Footage: Trim segments, cut and splice clips, and arrange raw material into a logical, smooth sequence.
Enhance Audio and Visuals: Add background music, dialogue, sound effects, and graphics.
Color and Quality Correction: Improve and correct lighting, color balance, and audio quality.
Collaborate on Vision: Meet with directors or clients to understand project goals and apply feedback through multiple drafts.
Manage Files: Organize digital raw files, maintain archives, and export final videos in formats optimized for various platforms.
Meet Deadlines: Deliver high-quality projects on time and work efficiently under pressure.
Requirements & Skills
Experience: Proven work experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
Software Proficiency: Expert knowledge of editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects,
also if you work using Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of pacing, visual composition, color grading, and basic sound mixing.
Communication: Strong team player skills with the ability to take creative direction and feedback.
