Job Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling recorded footage into polished, engaging content that aligns with our brand vision and project goals. The ideal candidate has strong storytelling skills, technical expertise in editing software, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw video footage into high-quality finished products for digital, social media, broadcast, or internal use.

• Collaborate with directors, producers, and content creators to understand project objectives.

• Trim footage segments and assemble sequences.

• Add music, sound effects, graphics, transitions, and visual effects.

• Ensure proper color correction, audio balancing, and formatting.

• Review and revise edits based on feedback.

• Manage and organize video assets and project files.

• Stay up to date with editing trends, tools, and industry standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role.

• Proficiency in editing software such as:

  • Adobe Premiere Pro

  • Final Cut Pro

  • DaVinci Resolve

  • Adobe After Effects

• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.

• Knowledge of color grading and audio editing.

• Familiarity with different video formats and codecs.

• Ability to work under tight deadlines.

• Excellent attention to detail and creativity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Film Production, Media, Communications, or related field.

• Experience with motion graphics and animation.

• Knowledge of social media video trends (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok).

• Basic understanding of cinematography.

• It is a Full Time Video Editor job for candidates with 1 - 2 years of experience.
