We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our media and content team. The ideal candidate will edit videos for educational campaigns, school activities, interviews, promotional materials, and social media content.
The role involves crafting engaging visual stories that communicate our brand’s message to students, parents, and schools.
Key Responsibilities:
Edit and produce high-quality videos for marketing, school promotions, social media, and educational platforms.
Work with the creative, content, and marketing teams to conceptualize and execute video projects.
Trim footage, add music, graphics, voice-overs, and effects to enhance storytelling.
Create short-form videos (Reels, YouTube Shorts, promotional clips) and long-form videos (interviews, event coverage).
Maintain brand consistency across all video outputs.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Stay updated with modern editing styles, trends, and digital video formats.
Optimize videos for various platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, websites, etc.).
Organize and maintain a video asset library.
Occasionally assist in shoots, lighting, and basic camera work when required.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Film Editing, Media Production, Visual Communication, or a related field.
1–3 years of professional experience in video editing (preferably in the education, media, or advertising sector).
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
Strong understanding of video formats, resolutions, and social media standards.
Creative sense of pacing, music, transitions, and storytelling.
Ability to handle raw footage and turn it into polished, engaging videos.
Knowledge of basic color correction and sound design.
Preferred Attributes:
Experience editing videos related to schools, colleges, education campaigns, or student testimonials.
Motion graphics, animation, or 2D/3D visual design skills are a plus.
Basic knowledge of photography or videography.
Familiarity with YouTube, Instagram, and digital marketing trends.
