We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and trend-aware Video Editor to join our growing in-house content team at Damani Consulting Services (DCS).
The role will involve creating high-quality, engaging video content for Instagram Reels, YouTube, podcasts, property walkthroughs, and real-estate marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of digital content, storytelling, and audience retention, along with the ability to transform raw footage and scripts into compelling visual content.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements
Strong understanding of short-form content, including Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
Experience editing long-form YouTube videos and podcasts.
Knowledge and experience of AI video-generation and AI editing tools.
Ability to create engaging hooks, transitions, captions, motion graphics, and visual effects.
Good understanding of Instagram and YouTube content trends.
Ability to edit videos with a focus on audience retention and engagement.
Experience with real-estate and property videos will be an added advantage.
Ability to work with raw footage from property shoots, podcast shoots, and talking-head videos.
Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, music selection, and visual composition.
Ability to understand a script and transform it into engaging visual content.
Strong attention to detail, quality, and consistency.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
Willingness to experiment with new AI tools, editing techniques, creative styles, and content formats.
Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
Minimum 1+ year of professional video editing experience.
A strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating previous work is preferred.

Someone who doesn't just edit videos, but understands what makes people stop scrolling, watch till the end, and engage with content. You should be creative, proactive, curious about new technology, and able to bring your own ideas to the editing process.
