Company Trainer – Job Description
Role Purpose:
To train, develop and assess café staff across locations, ensuring consistent standards of service, food quality, hygiene, SOP compliance and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct induction and on-the-job training for new employees.
Train teams on SOPs, recipes, service standards, POS and operational processes.
Conduct regular refresher and skill-based training at cafés.
Assess employee performance through practical evaluations and training tests.
Identify skill gaps and prepare corrective training plans.
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, grooming and company standards.
Monitor training effectiveness and maintain training records.
Support new store launches through pre-opening staff training.
Coordinate with Operations and HR to address employee training requirements.
Travel to company and franchise outlets as required for training and audits.
