Job Summary:
The Personal Loans Collections Team Leader is responsible for managing a team of 30 collection agents focused on recovering overdue personal loan payments. This role involves setting performance targets, monitoring daily operations, coaching team members, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Supervision:
Lead, motivate, and manage a team of tele-collection agents.
Allocate workloads and monitor team performance against KPIs.
Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
Collections Strategy & Execution:
Develop and implement effective collection strategies to maximize recovery.
Monitor delinquency trends and adjust tactics accordingly.
Handle escalated cases and negotiate payment solutions with customers.
Compliance & Reporting:
Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements in all collection activities.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and payment arrangements.
Prepare and present performance reports to senior management.
Training & Development:
Onboard and train new team members in collection techniques and systems.
Provide ongoing coaching and support to enhance team effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in collections, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
Strong understanding of debt recovery processes and legal frameworks.
Skills Required:
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and debt collection strategies.
Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Shift timing- 9 am to 6 pm
Working days- 7 days a week with 1 Rotational Week Off.
