Telecalling Executive

Role Overview

The Telecaller – Fundraising will be responsible for reaching out to potential donors, explaining the NGO’s mission and projects, and encouraging individuals to contribute. The role involves building strong donor relationships, maintaining donor data, and supporting fundraising campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to potential and existing donors from the provided database.

• Clearly explain the NGO’s cause, campaigns, and impact areas to inspire donations.

• Build emotional connection and trust with donors to encourage long-term support.

• Meet daily, weekly, and monthly call and fundraising targets.

• Maintain accurate donor records, call logs, and follow-up details in CRM/software.

• Handle donor queries, concerns, and objections professionally and politely.

• Follow approved scripts, fundraising guidelines, and ethical communication standards.

• Coordinate with the fundraising team for campaign updates and donor engagement activities.

• Assist in donor retention by conducting thank-you calls, renewal calls, and feedback calls.

• Ensure confidentiality and respect for donor information at all times.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: 12th pass / Graduate (preferred).

• Excellent communication skills in Hindi/English (regional language is a plus).

• Strong storytelling and persuasion skills.

• Ability to emotionally connect, empathize, and motivate donors.

• Basic computer knowledge and ability to update donor data accurately.

• Comfortable working with fundraising targets and call volume goals.

Preferred Experience

• 0–2 years of experience in telecalling, fundraising, customer service, or sales.

• Prior experience in NGO fundraising is an advantage but not mandatory.

• Freshers with good communication skills are welcome.
