Job Description

Job Title: Business Development Executive (EdTech)

Location: MG road

Experience: 1- 3 years (Freshers with strong communication skills may apply)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Executive to drive growth for our EdTech offerings. The candidate will be responsible for identifying prospective students/customers, understanding their learning needs, and guiding them toward suitable educational programs while achieving sales and enrollment targets.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and generate new leads through calls, emails, social media, and digital platforms

  • Counsel students/parents about courses, learning paths, and career outcomes

  • Convert leads into enrollments by effectively communicating value propositions

  • Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and conversions in CRM systems

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, schools, and partners

  • Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly sales and enrollment targets

  • Collaborate with marketing and academic teams to improve offerings and campaigns

  • Attend webinars, virtual events, and offline events when required

  • Handle objections and provide appropriate solutions to close sales


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (MBA/PGDM is a plus)

  • Excellent communication skills in English and regional languages

  • Strong persuasion, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

  • Basic understanding of sales processes and customer lifecycle

  • Ability to work in a target-driven and fast-paced environment

  • Familiarity with CRM tools and MS Office is preferred

  • Experience in EdTech, education sales, or inside sales

  • Passion for education, learning, and career counseling

  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and enthusiastic

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if required
