Job Summary
Nitsui India Private Limited is looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Manager to drive business growth across India. The candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing key customer relationships, conducting site visits, coordinating with project teams, and achieving sales targets for fire-rated doors and related products.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
Travel extensively across India to visit project sites, contractors, architects, consultants, builders, and clients.
Generate new business opportunities through direct customer engagement and market development.
Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, PMC consultants, contractors, developers, and government/private organizations.
Conduct product presentations and technical discussions with clients.
Follow up on enquiries, prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and close orders.
Coordinate with the design, production, dispatch, and installation teams for smooth project execution.
Monitor project progress and ensure timely order completion and customer satisfaction.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports and submit them to management.
Collect market intelligence, competitor information, and customer feedback.
Ensure timely collection of payments from customers.
Represent the company at exhibitions, client meetings, and industry events.
Eligibility
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 3–7 years of experience in sales, preferably in fire-rated doors, steel doors, building materials, hardware, construction, or related industries.
Proven experience in handling Pan India sales and project-based business.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
