Position: Education Counselor
Location: Dehradun, Uttarakhand
Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month + Incentives
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience: 0–3 Years
Qualification: Graduation in any stream

About the Role

We are looking for a confident, enthusiastic, and result-oriented Education Counselor to guide students and parents regarding courses, colleges, admissions, and career opportunities. The candidate will be responsible for counseling students, handling inquiries, following up with leads, and converting prospective students into admissions.

Key Responsibilities

Counsel students and parents regarding courses, colleges, and career opportunities.
Understand students' educational backgrounds, interests, and career goals.
Explain course details, eligibility, fees, admission process, and career prospects.
Handle student inquiries through calls, WhatsApp, emails, and walk-ins.
Follow up with prospective students and maintain regular communication.
Manage leads and work towards achieving admission/enrollment targets.
Convert qualified leads into successful admissions.
Maintain records of leads, follow-ups, and counseling activities.
Coordinate with the admission and academic teams.
Build strong and positive relationships with students and parents.

Requirements

Graduation in any stream.
Freshers can apply; experience in education counseling, tele-counseling, sales, or admissions will be an advantage.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Good convincing and negotiation skills.
Target-oriented and proactive approach.
Basic knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools.
Confident personality with a positive attitude.
