Job Description

Job Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Telecaller to join our EdTech team. The candidate will be responsible for interacting with prospective students and parents, explaining educational programs, and converting inquiries into enrollments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Make outbound calls to students/parents from provided leads

  • Handle inbound calls and respond to course-related inquiries

  • Explain EdTech courses, curriculum, fees, and learning benefits clearly

  • Counsel students on suitable courses based on their academic needs

  • Follow up on leads and maintain accurate call records in CRM

  • Achieve daily/weekly/monthly enrollment targets

  • Address objections and resolve customer queries professionally

  • Coordinate with academic and sales teams for smooth onboarding


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills in English & regional language

  • Strong convincing and negotiation skills

  • Basic computer knowledge (CRM, MS Excel, Email)

  • Customer-oriented attitude with a positive approach

  • Ability to work under targets and pressure

  • Experience in EdTech or education sales is an added advantage


Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Graduate / Undergraduate

  • Prior experience in Telecalling, Sales, or Counseling (EdTech preferred)

  • Passion for education and helping students


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Number of calls made per day

  • Lead conversion ratio

  • Enrollment closures
