About the Role
We are looking for a confident and target-oriented Academic Counsellor to guide prospective students and parents in choosing the right learning programs. The role involves understanding learner requirements, providing effective counselling, handling objections, following up with leads, and converting prospects into successful enrollments.
Key Responsibilities
Connect with prospective students/parents through calls, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
Understand students' academic background, requirements, and career goals.
Recommend suitable courses/programs based on learner needs.
Explain course structure, curriculum, benefits, fees, and career outcomes.
Follow up with interested leads and maintain a strong conversion pipeline.
Handle objections and resolve queries effectively to drive enrollment decisions.
Convert qualified leads into confirmed admissions/enrollments.
Maintain accurate lead and follow-up details in the CRM.
Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales/enrollment targets.
Maintain strong relationships with students and parents throughout the admission journey.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
Track and report individual performance, follow-ups, and conversions.
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of experience in EdTech Sales, Inside Sales, Academic Counselling, Admissions, or B2C Sales.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong convincing, negotiation, objection-handling, and closing skills.
Comfortable with calling, follow-ups, and target-based sales.
Good understanding of CRM and basic computer applications.
Graduate in any discipline preferred.
Candidates should be comfortable working from office in Bangalore.
