Job Summary
The Admission Counselor is responsible for guiding prospective students through the admission process, providing information about programs, counseling students on career and educational opportunities, and supporting enrollment targets. The role involves student outreach, relationship management, and coordination with academic and administrative teams.
Key Responsibilities
Counsel prospective students and parents regarding courses, admissions, eligibility criteria, and career opportunities.
Handle inquiries through phone calls, emails, social media, and walk-ins.
Conduct follow-ups with leads and maintain a strong conversion ratio.
Assist applicants throughout the admission and enrollment process.
Maintain accurate student records and update CRM systems regularly.
Participate in admission events, seminars, webinars, school visits, and education fairs.
Coordinate with academic and administrative departments to ensure smooth admissions.
Meet individual and team enrollment targets.
Prepare admission reports and provide regular updates to management.
Build and maintain relationships with schools, colleges, and other referral sources.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Master's degree preferred).
1–5 years of experience in admissions, counseling, education sales, or student recruitment.
Fresh graduates with strong communication skills may also be considered.
