Academic Counsellor

Job description 

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Admission Counsellor to join our Clinical Research Institute. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding prospective students through the admission process, providing accurate information about our academic programs, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience. The counsellor will play a key role in promoting our courses in clinical research, pharmacovigilance, medical writing, and related healthcare programs. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Counsel prospective students (via phone, email, in-person, and virtual meetings) about academic programs, course curriculum, career outcomes, and admission procedures. 

• Evaluate applicant profiles and assist them in selecting suitable programs based on their background, interests, and career goals. 

• Follow up on leads generated through various marketing campaigns, education fairs, webinars, and referrals. 

• Maintain detailed records of enquiries, applications, admissions, and follow-ups using CRM systems or Excel trackers. 

• Coordinate entrance tests, interviews, or document verification, as required by the admission process. 

• Work closely with academic departments to stay updated on course structures, schedules, eligibility criteria, and placement outcomes. 

• Provide pre-admission support such as resolving student queries, scheduling counselling sessions, and guiding on documentation. 

• Assist in organizing promotional events such as webinars, seminars, open houses, and workshops. 

• Meet monthly and quarterly admission targets in line with institutional goals. 

• Maintain confidentiality and compliance with data protection standards and institutional policies. 

• It is a Full Time Telesales / Telemarketing job for candidates with 1 - 5 years of experience.
