TV Technician

Audio Technician Duties & Responsibilities:

• Install and calibrate audio equipment for optimal sound output.

• Conduct pre-event sound checks and adjustments.

• Maintain and repair audio devices to ensure functionality.

• Collaborate with production teams to understand audio requirements.

• Record, edit, and mix audio tracks as necessary.

• Monitor sound feeds to identify and resolve issues in real-time.

• Stay updated with the latest audio technology and techniques.

• Organize and manage equipment inventory and storage.

• Advise on audio equipment purchases or upgrades.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards during equipment setup and use.

Audio Technician Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Audio Technician or similar role.

• In-depth knowledge of audio equipment, including mixers, microphones, and amplifiers.

• Familiarity with recording and editing software.

• Strong problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot audio issues promptly.

• Flexibility to work varying shifts, encompassing evenings and weekends.

• Good hearing and hand-eye coordination for sound adjustment.

• Effective communication skills for collaborating with production teams and artists.
