Overview & Role description:

Job Summary:

Caleedo is looking for a Field Service Engineer to support the installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of its IoT-based solutions at customer sites. This role involves regular field visits, hands-on technical work, and basic interaction with customers to ensure smooth deployment and reliable system performance.

Key Responsibilities

·        Install, commission, and test IoT hardware, sensors, gateways, and related peripherals at customer locations

·        Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and corrective servicing of deployed IoT systems

·        Diagnose hardware, connectivity, power, and basic software-related issues onsite

·        Configure devices, SIMs, and basic network parameters as per installation guidelines

·        Ensure proper cabling, mounting, and electrical connections following safety standards

·        Update installation reports, service logs, and checklists using computer/mobile-based tools

·        Coordinate with the central technical/support team for issue resolution and escalations

·        Educate customers on basic system usage and report operational feedback

·        Ensure timely completion of assigned site visits across Delhi NCR / Hyderabad

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

Education: ITI with 2-8 years’ experience (Electrician / Electronics / Instrumentation / Computer Hardware / Networking or equivalent)

Experience: Diploma Engineer with 1-5 years’ experience

·        Prior field installation or service experience in electronics, telecom, CCTV, BMS, fire alarm, or IoT systems will be an advantage

Technical & Skill Requirements

·        Basic understanding of electronics, sensors, power supplies, and field wiring

·        Familiarity with tools such as multimeter, drill machine, crimping tools, etc.

·        Basic knowledge of networking concepts (GSM, Wi-Fi, Ethernet) preferred

·        Computer literate: comfortable using laptops/smartphones for configuration, data entry, and reporting

·        Ability to follow SOPs, wiring diagrams, and installation manuals

Other Requirements

·        Willingness to travel extensively within Delhi NCR / Hyderabad

·        Ability to work independently at customer sites

·        Good communication skills and customer-facing attitude

·        Physically fit for field work (climbing, mounting, site movement)

Salary: 25,000 – 27,000 CTC ( includes 2,500 performance based incentive) – TH will be about 23,000 including incentive
Own conveyance – Must

Requires frequent travel within the city on requirement basis
