About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Assistant for our Flight Test Operations team working on a fixed-wing UAV platform. You will support day-to-day flight test activities in the field and at the workshop, working directly on flight test operations.

Responsibilities

Assist in flight operations as per SOPs and checklists

Airframe assembly, inspection, and minor repairs

Battery charging, storage, and handling as per safety procedures

Packing, transport, and setup of aircraft and ground support equipment at test sites

Launch and recovery support during flight operations

Assist with data and equipment handling and tracking

Tool and equipment inventory upkeep

Support extended field campaigns, including early morning shifts

Qualifications

ITI (Electronics / Electrical / Mechanic / Fitter or related trade) or Diploma in Mechanical, Electronics, or a related discipline

Strong hands-on technical aptitude with hand tools and basic electronics (soldering, wiring, connectors)

Physically fit and willing to work outdoors in field conditions

Willingness to travel and work flexible shift timings

Good to Have

RC aircraft / drone building or flying experience

Familiarity with ArduPilot / Mission Planner

Ability to drive a four-wheeler
