Senior Field Installation Technician

Job Purpose The Field Engineer is responsible for executing project delivery activities at site, including installation, basic design support, system implementation, maintenance, and commissioning under the guidance of Team Leaders and Managers. The role involves hands-on technical expertise across system integration, configuration, and optimization, along with providing O&M support when required to ensure seamless project delivery. Key Responsibilities 1. Field Execution & Installation Perform hands-on installation and execution activities at site under supervision. Ensure adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements. Support basic design implementation and assist in system setup. 2. System Implementation & Integration Participate in system integration, configuration, and optimization activities. Support deployment of IBMS / Security / Fire / Automation systems as applicable. Ensure systems are installed and configured as per technical and project standards. 3. Testing, Commissioning & Maintenance Assist in testing and commissioning activities for deployed systems. Carry out system checks, troubleshooting, and optimization during project execution. Provide ongoing maintenance and operational support (O&M) when required. 4. Technical Support & Coordination Work closely with Team Leaders, Managers, and cross-functional teams for project execution. Provide on-ground technical support to ensure smooth project delivery. Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for resolution of technical issues. 5. Quality & Compliance Ensure all field activities are executed in line with defined quality standards. Adhere to organizational safety (EHS) and compliance guidelines during execution. 6. Documentation & Reporting Maintain basic site-level documentation related to installation, testing, and maintenance activities. Support preparation of reports as required by project teams. Experience & Qualifications Diploma / Associate Degree (2-year) or equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in field execution / system deployment Hands-on experience in installation, commissioning, or maintenance of systems Key Skills & Competencies Basic system design understanding and technical execution capability Knowledge of system integration and configuration Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work in field environments and manage site activities Team collaboration and coordination skills Experience Level Senior Level
