Position Overview:  As a Maintenance Technician in the sheet metal fabrication industry, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of machinery,
equipment, and facilities. This vital role requires expertise in troubleshooting, repair, and
preventive maintenance within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Perform preventive maintenance on sheet metal fabrication machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

•  Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

•  Conduct repairs, adjustments, and replacements of machine components to uphold operational efficiency.

•  Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address maintenance-related concerns and improve equipment reliability.

•  Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment condition, and spare parts inventory.

•  Adhere to safety protocols, contribute to safety training, and promote a culture of workplace safety and cleanliness.

•  Knowledge of Implementing various Kaizen projects , Cost saving projects and problem solving tools like Why – Why analysis , Fishbone Diagram etc

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in maintenance or related field.

• Proven experience in maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial setting, preferably in sheet metal fabrication.

• Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.

• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
