Designation: Maintenance Engineer/Senior Maintenance Engineer

Qualification: ITI/Diploma/B.tech in Mechanical, Mechatronics.

Experience: 02-08 Years.

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical to ensure the reliability, availability, and optimum performance of CNC machines, Special Purpose Machines (SPMs), utility equipment, Robots, and associated manufacturing systems used in aerospace component manufacturing. The role involves preventive and breakdown maintenance, spare parts management, continuous improvement initiatives, audit support, and basic troubleshooting. Aim to achieve & Maintain manufacturing standards and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities

Equipment Maintenance & Reliability

· Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of CNC machines, VMCs, Turning Centers, Drilling machines, Grinding Machines, Robotic systems and SPMs.

· Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication, and machine alignment issues.

· Ensure maximum equipment uptime and machine availability to meet production requirements.

· Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring equipment failures and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

· Monitor machine health and recommend reliability improvement projects.

· Coordinate with OEMs and service providers for major repairs and machine overhauls.

· Support installation, commissioning, relocation, and qualification of new equipment.

· Assist in automation improvement projects and manufacturing digitization initiatives.

Preventive & Predictive Maintenance

· Develop, implement, and monitor preventive maintenance schedules for all manufacturing equipment.

· Maintain maintenance checklists, history cards, calibration schedules, and service records.

· Drive predictive maintenance initiatives through condition monitoring, vibration analysis, lubrication management, and periodic inspections.

· Ensure timely execution and closure of maintenance activities as per maintenance plans.

Audit, Compliance & Documentation

· Support customer, quality, system, process, and regulatory audits by maintaining and updating company maintenance standards and records such as Breakdown slips, SOPs, work instructions, risk assessments, oil consumption, etc.

· Participate in internal/external audits and closure of audit observations.

· Ensure adherence to safety procedures and machine maintenance best practices.

· Participate in TPM, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and OEE improvement initiatives.

· Analyse machine downtime and implement actions to improve MTBF and reduce MTTR.

· Recommend modifications and upgrades to improve equipment reliability and productivity.

· Support energy conservation and cost reduction initiatives within the maintenance function.
