Assemble and erect structural steel, platforms, pipes, tanks, equipment, and other components.
Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and erection plans.
Assist with lifting, rigging, and positioning materials using cranes and lifting equipment.
Align and secure components using bolts, welds, or other fastening methods.
Inspect materials and completed work for quality and accuracy.
Follow all site safety regulations and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
Work with supervisors, riggers, welders, and other construction personnel.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Report any defects, safety hazards, or installation issues to supervisors.
Qualifications
High school education, ITI, or equivalent technical training.
Experience in construction, steel structure erection, or industrial installation work.
Ability to read basic engineering drawings and measurements.
Knowledge of safe lifting and rigging practices.
Physically fit and capable of working at heights when required.
