Fire Officer

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular fire safety inspections and ensure compliance with fire safety regulations, codes, and company policies.

• Develop, implement, and maintain fire prevention and emergency response plans.

• Conduct fire risk assessments and recommend corrective actions to eliminate hazards.

• Organize and lead fire drills, evacuation exercises, and fire safety training for employees.

• Inspect and maintain firefighting equipment (fire alarms, extinguishers, hydrants, sprinklers, emergency lighting).

• Act as the first responder in case of fire, coordinating with emergency services as required.

• Maintain accurate records of fire incidents, inspections, training, and drills.

• Liaise with local fire authorities and regulatory bodies on compliance matters.

• Provide fire safety induction and awareness programs for new employees and contractors.

• Ensure emergency exits, escape routes, and assembly points are properly maintained and clearly marked.

• Assist in accident/incident investigations related to fire or emergency situations.
