JOB DESCRIPTION FOR FIRE HYDRANT & FIRE EXTINGUISHER

ENGINEER/TECHNICIAN

Job Description Fire Hydrant and Fire Extinguisher Engineer

•Inspection, Repair, Maintains, Troubleshoots, installs/Servicing of

Sprinkler, FE/FH system,Fire Pump Room,Motor,DG,FH Valves.

•Verifying the causes of malfunctions in the FH/Sprinkler/FE System

installing replacement parts as necessary if require.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities –

 Servicing of First aid rubber hose reel drum

 Servicing of Fire Hydrant Valves, Butter Fly Valve, NRV, Pumps,

Control Percolated Hose etc.

 Determine condition of Fire Equipment’s Retrofit work of (FIRE

Hydrant/sprinkler system (Fire DG, Jockey, Main Motors, Sprinkler

Motors and Booster Motor etc.)

 Checking and Cleaning of Fire Extinguishers.

 Checking of Hoses, Nozzles & Squeeze Grip, Safety Clip

 Checking of Physical condition of Fire Extinguishers ( Exterior/Interior)
