Job Description

Location: Head Office + Restaurant Visits
Reporting To: IT Manager
Department: Information Technology

1. Role Purpose

To provide technical support to all PFD restaurants and HO by resolving hardware, network, POS, biometric, and system issues. The role ensures uninterrupted IT operations for daily restaurant functioning.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Hardware & System Support

Visit restaurants to troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and network devices.

Install, configure, and repair IT equipment as required.

Assist with system upgrades and maintenance activities.

B. POS (PetPooja) Support

Coordinate with PetPooja support for issue resolution.

Assist restaurant teams in using POS features, configuration updates, and basic troubleshooting.

C. Network & Connectivity

Fix internet connectivity issues across restaurants and HO.

Coordinate with ISPs for downtime or service-related complaints.

Ensure routers, switches, and network cables are functioning correctly.

D. Biometric & Attendance System

Troubleshoot biometric devices at HO and restaurants.

Coordinate with vendor/IT Manager for device configuration and repairs.

Ensure attendance syncing issues are resolved promptly.

E. CCTV Support

Assist in basic CCTV troubleshooting (camera offline, DVR backup issues, wiring checks).

Coordinate with CCTV vendor when advanced repairs are required.

F. Documentation & Coordination

Maintain service logs of IT issues attended daily.

Update IT Manager on unresolved or recurring issues.

Assist in maintaining asset inventory for IT equipment.

3. Required Skills & Competencies

Strong hardware and networking knowledge.

Hands-on experience troubleshooting desktops, POS systems, routers, and biometric devices.

Good communication and customer-service approach.

Ability to work independently at restaurant locations.

4. Qualification & Experience

Diploma / Graduate in IT, Computer Science, or related field.

1–3 years of IT support experience, preferably in hospitality or retail.
