Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and responsible CCTV Technician to install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot CCTV surveillance and other security systems at residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
Key Responsibilities
Install and configure CCTV cameras, DVRs, NVRs, monitors, and related security equipment.
Perform IP camera and analog CCTV installations.
Configure network settings, IP addresses, switches, and routers for CCTV systems.
Install and terminate CAT6, coaxial, power, and other required cables.
Configure remote viewing of CCTV systems through mobile applications and computers.
Troubleshoot camera, DVR/NVR, network, power, and recording-related issues.
Conduct preventive maintenance and periodic servicing of CCTV systems.
Replace faulty cameras, power supplies, storage devices, cables, and other components.
Perform testing and commissioning of newly installed systems.
Maintain proper documentation of installations, equipment, and service activities.
Visit customer locations for installation, service, and troubleshooting.
Explain basic system operation and usage to customers.
Follow safety procedures and maintain professional behavior at customer sites.
Required Skills
Good knowledge of CCTV cameras, DVR, NVR, and surveillance systems.
Knowledge of IP networking and basic troubleshooting.
Ability to configure IP addresses and network-connected CCTV devices.
Knowledge of CAT6 cable crimping and termination.
Basic knowledge of routers, switches, and networking equipment.
Ability to identify and troubleshoot hardware and connectivity problems.
Good communication and customer-handling skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to travel to customer locations.
Educational Qualification
ITI / Diploma / 12th standard or equivalent technical qualification preferred.
Candidates with relevant CCTV/security-system experience will also be considered.
Experience
0–2 years: Junior CCTV Technician
2+ years: CCTV Technician / Senior CCTV Technician
Freshers with basic technical knowledge and a willingness to learn may also apply.
